Sørlia IL was one of 18 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during NTE-CUP 2022. They participated with 6 teams in Gutter 7, 3'er (født 2015), Gutter 9, 5'er (født 2013), Gutter 11, 7'er (født 2011) and Jenter 7, 3'er (født 2015) respectively.
In addition to this, Sørlia IL have participated in NTE-CUP before. During NTE-CUP 2021, Sørlia had three teams playing in Jenter 8, 5'er (født 2013) and Jenter 10, 7'er (født 2011) respectively. Sørlia comes from Steinkjer which lies approximately 420 km from , where NTE-CUP takes place. The area around Steinkjer does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during NTE-CUP 2022 (Among others: Egge IL, Steinkjer FK - Fotball, Vinne IL, Sverre, IL, Sparbu IL, Byafossen IL, Verdal IL, Inderøy IL, Røra IL and Ogndal IL).
