Sparbu IL was one of 18 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during NTE-CUP 2022. They participated with 6 teams in Gutter 8, 5'er (født 2014), Gutter 10, 7'er (født 2012), Jenter 9, 5'er (født 2013) and Gutter 6, 3èr (født 2016) respectively.
In addition to this, Sparbu IL have participated in NTE-CUP before. During NTE-CUP 2021, Sparbu had two teams playing in Jenter 10, 7'er (født 2011) and Jenter 11, 7'er (født 2010) respectively. Sparbu comes from SPARBU which lies approximately 420 km from , where NTE-CUP takes place. The area around SPARBU does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during NTE-CUP 2022 (Among others: Egge IL, Steinkjer FK - Fotball, Vinne IL, Sverre, IL, Byafossen IL, Verdal IL, Inderøy IL, Røra IL, Ogndal IL and Stiklestad IL).
